Terms and Conditions
We strongly advise that you read the following terms and conditions carefully in order to avoid any misunderstandings. MySunnyEscapes.com reserves the right, at its discretion, to change, modify, update, add or remove these Terms and Conditions at any time, without prior notice.
All prices are subject to availability and can be withdrawn or varied without notice. In addition, all prices include all taxes. Once the availability and the total cost of the services are confirmed by our company, your confirmation will be asked. In order to book a villa for a certain period, a deposit is required (usually 40%), to secure your booking.
You can pay using your PayPal account, credit card or via bank transfer. You will find all related info to the email we will send you after you book a villa. Once payment has been authorized, you will receive an email, to your indicated email address, informing you that we have received payment. Should you choose to pay by bank transfer, please notify us first by email.
You will receive the notice of payment usually on the last day of your stay (check-out date) in the villa you have chosen. Only the villa owner is responsible for providing you with the notice of payment.
2. Bank transfer and credit card fees
Some banks and credit cards impose fees for international transactions. If you are making a booking from outside of the Eurozone, your bank may convert the payment amount to your local currency and charge you a conversion fee. This means the amount listed on your credit or bank card statement may be in your local currency and therefore a different figure than the figure shown on the billing summary page for a reservation booked on the website. The currency exchange rate and foreign transaction fee is determined solely by your bank on the day that they process the transaction. If you have any questions about these fees or the exchange rate applied to your booking, please contact your bank.
3. Cancellation fees
Every villa has its own cancellation fees described in the Villa Policies section. You will find this under the description of each villa in our website. Normally, there is a “safe period” of 21 days. This means that if you cancel your reservation 21 days prior to check-in date, the full deposit will be refunded. Again, we advise that you read carefully each villa’s policies.
4. Extension/Alternation of your booking
Extending your booking (stay more days than those initially declared) is not always possible, although every effort will be made. No refund will be given for a shorter stay than the one you booked and the villa is free to be let after the clients’ departure. A major alteration may be treated as cancellation.
5. Air travel arrangements
Client is responsible for making all travel arrangements such as flight tickets, car hire and/or transfer (from and/or to the airport or elsewhere). Of course, upon request, we can find you a car rental or transfer. It is client’s responsibility to contact the airline prior to travel to ensure the scheduled departure time has not changed. If there is a flight delay and you arrive at the villa later than scheduled, the first day will still be charged.
6. Passports and visas
It is your responsibility to ensure that you have valid passports, visas and re-entry permits which meet the requirements of immigration and other government authorities. Any fines, penalties, payments or expenditures incurred as a result of such documents not meeting the requirements of those authorities will be your sole responsibility. All travellers must have a valid passport for international travel and many countries require at least 6 months validity from the date of entry.
MySunnyEscapes.com is not responsible for loss or damage to clients because of circumstances beyond its control, such as failures of public supplies or transportation, acts by governments, civil disturbances, natural phenomena etc. In the unlikely event of any observations or complaints, do please discuss these directly with us, at the time, during your stay.
The accommodation is for the exclusive use of the clients and is not to be sub-let under any circumstances. All breakages and losses must be paid prior to departure, which normally ends at noon on the last day of rental. In case of late departure, we can extend your stay in the villa, only in case that not new clients are expected (extra fees may apply). If you have any complaints regarding your accommodation (e.g., the service is not what you expected, the villa misses some major conveniences mentioned in its descriptionetc.) please inform us immediately in order to find the best possible solution. After your departure, no such complaints are to be concerned and you have no right to ask for anything.
9. User comments and feedback
After staying in a villa it is advisable that you leave a comment and rate the villa you rented (you must be logged in). Please comment as objectively as possible while using proper language. Feedbacks which use foul language are not accepted. MySunnyEscapes.com reserves the right not to post your comments if decided they are offensive and not objective.
